D Arcy Short and Chris Lynn scored a half-century each for the team. Mujeeb ur Rahman was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Shaun Marsh helped the Renegades win their first game of the season by four wickets in 18.4 overs. McGurk scored 70 runs off 37 deliveries and Marsh scored 54 runs off 33 deliveries.
